  8.    HTTPJ  is a program born to receive HTML pages sending commands directly
  9. from  shell and now it's capable to automatically get whole directory trees
  10. from remote servers.  Its features are listed below:
  11.  
  12.  · It fully supports HTTP 1.0 and HTML 3.2 and some special extensions used
  13.    by Netscape and Internet Explorer.  It also allows anonymous navigation.

  15.  · Fully  managed from shell, it doesn't need external configuration  file,
  16.    so it's easy of use.

  18.  · It  allows reception of a single document,  a document with images or an
  19.    entire  tree  (Mirror);  document  links  are  modified  for  a  correct
  20.    navigation.

  22.  · Management of Local Mirrors  (links are refered to destination path) and
  23.    Real  Mirrors (links are refered to destination site) with the option to
  24.    specify maximum depth level for local tree and other hosts.

  26.  · Full support for Proxy Server with the option to disable the cache.

  28.  · Thanks  to the UPDATE option it doesn't load documents  unmodified since
  29.    the last download.

  31.  · If the requested document has been moved, the program will automatically
  32.    request for the new address.

  34.  · The  code has been  rewritten suing all the Commodore directives:  it is
  35.    stable  and  doesn't  cause Enforcer Hit.  As it's written in C language
  36.    it's very fast.

  38.  · It requires very little memory:  other than the one  used by the program
  39.    itself,  it's  allocated only the receiving buffer (configurable and set
  40.    by  default  to  5  Kb)  and  the possible HTML document current loading
  41.    (except for images and archives).
